Stapled finance

Creating a level playing field

Stapled finance

Stapled finance means that the seller has prepared an offer of acquisition finance by one or more banks. This means that the candidate purchasers all have to make a bid that is no longer subject to finance, and that a level playing field is created. Thus, the seller receives more competitive biddings and can better compare the offers.
